autumn scarf collection

When I look out of my window I can see lots of colourfull leaves, I can see the birds leaving their homes and I see people going for a walk at the last warm summer days.
The end of summer always means that it's time to check your wardrobe if you are well prepared for the cold windy autumn days. Every year I search for my scarfs (which I got last year) but my seems to eat these all in summer. I never find them *sigh*
This year I wanted to prepared very early so I checked my wardrobe for a cozy scarf and like every year all my scarfs dissapeared ?!
So I came up with the idea of making my own cozy scarf out of my fave fabrics. While I was working I thought "Hey ...I could make a little scarf collection! I have tons of ideas for autum embroidery and my scarf is to small to put these all on one scarf!".
And here is the result of my first scarf collection.

Every little scarf comes with a different embroidery and colour design. The back of the scarf is made from comfy fleece which keeps your neck warm.
Here are the little scarfs:

windy brown

apple red

rainy yellow

cozy purple

sad green

All the little scarfs are listed here.

I was busy the last weeks...

...with preparing presents for very special ladies .
My sis visited me 1 week ago. I was so happy to see her again after 1 1/2 year that I wanted to give her a very special present.
Like all ladies my sis loves bags in different sizes and styles. I know that she has tons of pretty handbag but I was sure there was no pretty tote bag in her closet.
The little tote bag was inspired by the cold autumn weather with all the colourfull leaves. I picked some of my fave colours (for this time of the year) and mixed it with some crochet squares.

September is also a very special month for a very lovely friend. Wendy turned one year older yesterday and I wanted to give her a very special present. I wanted to make something pretty and usefull (of course) so I made her a little crochet scarf and matching wrist warmers. I know she won't need these in hot Hong Kong but she can wear the set durring our japan vacation in november.

(scarf and wrist warmers modeled by my sis. Gladly Wendy and her have the same hand size)

Yeah Wendy, only 2 month and we will meet in the most interessing city and shopping heaven !

cold weather = Muffin time

It's getting cold here in germany. Today we had only 1 °C and I was freezing like crazy. Gladly I had my super funny red gloves which kept me warm when I cycled to work.
Cold weather always makes me drivel for yummy cakes and muffins. I'm still in my matcha cake + cookie mood so I was searching for a fun Muffin recipe with matcha. I found a really good looking one here so I had to try it with my sis.
It was fun to make those almond peanut biscuit filled chocolate cupcakes with matcha frosting and these muffin are my all time fave now. You should try this recipe as well..I bet you will love the result !
